Background: In Norway, we have a decent state support system for recording albums. To get support, ot is required a formal application with description and detailed budget, and the way from application to finished product entails a number of documents back and forth, as listed below.
Two modifications of the existing Contract features would be necessary to get a good system for this, but I believe it could be useful also for others, e.g. when contracts are negotiated, and one would like to keep some trail of versions:

the possibility to link contract to album

add metadata to attachments to Contracts, e.g. contact person date and type of attachement (e.g. Application, Contract, Report.. might be free text field)

Attachments now have an upload date - would like to also be able to enter a date for the actual doc (e.g. date of signature)

The ability to link album to contracts is coming soon. For the other request (adding notes to attachments), it's a good suggestion and we'll probably do it one day.
